(Misión de la Iglesia del Oriente en Latinoamérica y Caribe: The Mission) Ecclesiastical Province of the Church of the East in America. Also known as the Holy Apostolic Catholic Church of the East in Brazil in Brazil, Latin America and the Caribbean) Syrian- Chaldean Rite.
La Misión de la Iglesia del Oriente en Latinoamérica y Caribe es una Província Eclesiástica, parte escindida de la Iglesia del Oriente (Igreja Sírio-Caldaica do Oriente no Brasil), que fue fundada, de acuerdo con la tradición, por Santo Tomás, el Apóstol, en el siglo I. Ya a mediados del siglo II se habían establecido comunidades cristianas en el Imperio Parto, desde Mesopotamia hasta la India, y por todo el oriente.
Reúne a los ciudadanos de fe cristiana, para ejercer conjuntamente el derecho de libertad de conciencia y difusión de la creencia y de la práctica cristiana (ortodoxa-oriental), así como para velar por la educación moral y religiosa de sus hijos.
Somos una Comunidad Eclesiástica Autocéfala. Como Iglesia hija de la Iglesia Católica-Apostólica del Oriente, estamos canónicamente e históricamente enraizados en las tradiciones de esta venerable jurisdicción.
“The Mission of the Church of the East in Latin America and the Caribbean is an ecclesiastical province, part spun off from the Church of the East (Igreja Sírio-Caldaica do Oriente no Brasil), which was founded, according to tradition, St. Thomas the Apostle in the century I. since mid-second century had established Christian communities in the Parthian Empire, from Mesopotamia to India and throughout the east.
Brings together the citizens of Christian faith to jointly exercise the right to freedom of conscience and dissemination of belief and practice Christian (Orthodox Eastern) and to ensure the religious and moral education of their children.
We are an autonomous ecclesiastical community, part of the tradition of the Catholic-Apostolic Church of the East, founded according to tradition by the Apostle Thomas (Mar Thoma) in the first century, also known as Church Persian Church Eastern Syria, Syro Chaldean and Holy Catholic Apostolic Church of the East.
We are a church community Autocephalous. As the daughter of the Catholic-Apostolic Church of the Eastern Church, we canonically and historically rooted in the traditions of this venerable jurisdiction.
